Receptionist

We are looking to appoint a Receptionist in the Finance Department. You will be reporting to the Payroll Manager. You will need to portray the Company’s image at all times.


KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain the switchboard and direct calls to relevant staff.
  • Take accurate messages and forward to relevant staff accordingly and on time.
  • Receive and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
  • Provide visitors with visitor’s badges and PPE.
  • Offer visitors refreshments whilst waiting in the reception area.
  • Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of the reception area.
  • Production hour capturing.
  • Adhoc duties as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12).
  • Experience:  At least 2 to 3 years working experience as a receptionist, operating a busy switchboard.
  • Prior knowledge of payroll will be advantageous.
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance records.
  • Strong attention to detail and very process driven.
